BLT Turkey Salad image

This variation of a BLT salad goes great with a side of garlic bread or garlic toast, and will satisfy even the pickiest eaters. -Sherry Conley, Noel Hants County, Nova Scotia

Yield 12 servings (1-1/4 cups each).

Number Of Ingredients 14

1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
6 cups torn romaine or leaf lettuce
4 cups cubed cooked turkey
1-1/2 cups chopped tomatoes
1-1/2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
10 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1/2 cup chopped cucumber

Steps:

  • In a large salad bowl, whisk the first 5 ingredients. Add the remaining ingredients; toss to coat.
