1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
7 cups pitted red tart cherries, (about 2 pounds)
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
3/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
1/4 cup baking cocoa

This cobbler was a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I would reduce the amount of sugar in the filling next time.

I made this cobbler for a potluck and it was a hit! Everyone loved it. The only change I made was to use frozen cherries instead of fresh cherries. It turned out great!
