Black Angus Garlic Cheese Bread image

This is one of my all time favorite breads. I like to keep some in the freezer for quick dinners.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 loaf french bread
1/2 c butter
1 c monterey jack cheese, shredded
1 c asiago cheese, shredded
1 c mayonnaise
1 bunch green onions, chopped
2 clove garlic, pureed

Steps:

  • 1. Split french bread loaf into halves horizontally.
  • 2. Mix butter, cheeses, mayonnaise, green onions and garlic in a bowl, blending well.
  • 3. Spread the cut side of bread with spread. Bake at 350ºF for 7 minutes, then place under broiler about 3 minutes longer. Cut into slices and serve.
