Number Of Ingredients 8

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups milk
1/2 cup cooking oil or 1/2 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

I'm allergic to eggs, so I substituted flax eggs in this recipe. The waffles turned out great!

These waffles are a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I'll try reducing the amount of sugar next time.

These waffles were a huge disappointment. They were dense and doughy, and they didn't have much flavor.

I've tried many different waffle recipes, but this one is by far the best. The waffles are light and fluffy, and they have the perfect amount of sweetness.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my waffles turned out dry and crumbly. I'm not sure what I did wrong.
