Steps:
- Core and finely chop one apple.
- Mix sausage, beef and chopped apple and shape into burgers.
- Grill directly over medium high heat for 4-5 minutes per side (until pink no longer remains).
- While burgers are cooking, cook bacon and toast hamburger buns.
- In a small bowl stir together mayonnaise, mustard and honey.
- Put mayo-honey-mustard spread on a toasted bun and top with cooked burger.
- Core and slice an additional green apple.
- Place 2 slices of apple and 2 slices of bacon on top of burger.
- Top with other bun half and enjoy!
