Best Ramen Noodles image

I got this ramen recipe from my father, who got it from his father. Nice on a cold day!

2 cups water
1 cup cubed cooked chicken
⅛ teaspoon dried minced onion, or to taste
4 pinches Creole seasoning
1 dash hot sauce
1 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles with seasoning packet
1 slice pepper Jack cheese

Steps:

  • Pour water into a medium saucepan. Add chicken, onion, Creole seasoning, and hot sauce. Bring mixture to a rolling boil. Add noodles and reduce heat to medium; cook for 3 minutes.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the included noodle seasoning packet and pepper Jack cheese. Let cool slightly before serving.
