Beef Macaroni Sour Cream Casserole image

Very simple and easy dish to make. A definite for casserole lovers

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion
8 oz tomato sauce
8 oz sour cream
6 slice pepper jack cheese
8 oz pasta, bow-tie or ribbed
1/2 tsp garlic powder
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Brown ground beef with diced onion, salt, pepper & garlic.
  • 3. Cook elbow macaroni until tender, drain and mix sour cream & noodles (only) together.
  • 4. Once noodles are coated with sour cream, combine beef with tomato sauce and place 1/2 of mixture in a 8x10 dish.
  • 5. Add a layer of noodles and top with 2 slices of cheese. Repeat this once more, topping casserole with remaining cheese slices.
  • 6. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes.
