Basil Tea Recipe from India image

This recipe has been submitted for play in ZWT8 - India. This recipe was found on Indian Food Forever . Now this sounds good. I often am left wondering what I'm going to do with all the basil growing in the garden. What a great use for it. Please note: Cooking time is for steeping of the tea.

This tea is too strong for me. I think I'll use less basil next time.

I'm not sure I like the combination of basil and ginger. I think I'll try it again without the ginger next time.

I'm not a big fan of basil, but I actually really enjoyed this tea. It's not too overpowering and the other ingredients balance it out nicely.
