Banana Surprise image

Super easy and quick to make. A nice way to use up ripe bananas. And only 7 ingredients.

5 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 c quick oats
1 box 9.9 oz. box of coconut pecan frosting mix
4 medium bananas (mashed)
4 medium eggs
1 c milk
1 box 1.25 pound box yellow cake mix

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In medium pan, melt butter, add oatmeal and frosting mix.(Do not follow box directions). Mix until crumbly, set aside.
  • 2. In a large bowl, blend bananas, eggs & milk. Beat w/ mixer at medium speed for 1 min. Add yellow cake mix (do not follow box directions). Mix until well blended.
  • 3. Pour alternate layers of frosting mixture and cake mixture into greased bundt pan, starting and ending with frosting mixture. Press last layer down with spoon to moisten.
  • 4. Bake 1 hour. cool 15 minutes before removing from pan. HINT: for best results, use very ripe bananas.
