Banana Split Salad image

Number Of Ingredients 10

lettuce leaves
2/3 cup cottage cheese
2 tablespoons Cheddar cheese grated (optional)
1 banana large or 2 small
Fresh lemon or lime juice
3/4 cup cantaloupe small balls
1/2 cup blueberries rinsed and well drained
1/3 cup green seedless grape cut in half
2 tablespoons sunflower seeds toasted
1/2 cup strawberry yogurt

Steps:

  • Arrange lettuce on individual salad plates. Place a mound of cottage cheese in the center. Sprinkle with optional grated cheese. Cut banana in half lengthwise, then crosswise. Dip banana in lemon or lime juice place fruits in an attractive pattern around cottage cheese. Sprinkle with sunflower seed. Serve strawberry yogurt as the dressing.
