Banana Split Pie image

This is a quick and easy pie to prepare for picnics or family gatherings. It's one of my favorites....so easy to prepare and it tastes so good.

1 graham cracker pie crust (9 oz. size)
3 bananas
1 pkg 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
1 pkg 3 oz. instant vanilla pudding
1 c milk
1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 c crushed pineapple, well-drained
8 oz whipped topping
1/4 c pecan chips
9 maraschino cherries, well-drained
chocolate syrup

Steps:

  • 1. Line bottom and sides of the graham cracker pie shell with sliced bananas.
  • 2. Whip cream cheese, powdered sugar, instant pudding, milk and vanilla in a mixer until it is fluffy. Stir in the drained pineapple.. Carefully pile cream cheese-pineapple mixture into the pie shell.
  • 3. Top the pie with whipped topping. Sprinkle with pecans and place drained cherries on top of the nuts. Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
  • 4. Chill the pie for about 1 hour before serving. It's even better if you make it the day before serving it!
