Banana Salad image

This is posted in response to a request from another member. I suspect that the peanuts could be optional.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 can evaporated milk
3 -4 bananas, sliced
1 cup Spanish peanut

Steps:

  • In top of a double boiler mix except bananas and peanuts.
  • Mix well and cook until thick.
  • Cool.
  • Alternate layers of bananas, dressing and peanuts.
