Banana Oatmeal Waffles image

1 cup flour
1 cup oatmeal, large flake
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 dash nutmeg
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
2 eggs
2 bananas, sliced
1/4 cup butter, melted

Steps:

  • Combine flour, oats, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Whisk buttermilk and eggs together in a separate bowl.
  • Stir buttermilk into flour mixture. Stir in bananas and melted butter.
  • Bake waffles in a waffle iron.
