Banana Mini Chocolate Chip Bars image

Bars flecked with mini chips. Children love them.

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c butter, softened
2/3 c sugar
2/3 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp vanilla
1 c mashed ripe bananas (3 medium)
1 egg
1-2/3 c mini chocolate chips

Steps:

  • 1. Combine dry ingredients in medium bowl. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy.
  • 2. Beat in bananas and egg. Gradually beat in flour mixture; stir in mini chips.
  • 3. Spread into greased 15 X 10 inch jelly roll pan. .
  • 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
