Banana & Kumara (Sweet Potato) Salad image

1 onion, sliced
2 medium kumara, peel and diced
6 bananas
1/2 green capsicum, slice
1/2 cup sultana
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 teaspoon turmeric
2 teaspoons curry powder

Steps:

  • Saute onion in a little butter, cool.
  • Peel and dice 2 medium kumera, cook in salted water till tender.
  • Slice 6 medium banana's.
  • Toss onion, kumera, green capsicum, saltana's and banana's together.
  • Mix dressing and pour over the top of kumera/banana mixture.
