Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies image

Banana lovers, here is a delicious recipe with chocolate chips. Easy to make and definitely a winner. Kids love them.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 c sifted all purpose flour
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c sugar
1/3 c butter, softened
1 egg, large
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 c mashed ripe banana
1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp baking powder

Steps:

  • 1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients; set aside.
  • 2. Cream butter and beat in sugar gradually. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add mashed bananas to butter mixture.
  • 3. Add mashed banana mixture alternately with the dry ingredients, beating each addition well. Stir in chocolate chips and drop dough onto a buttered cookie sheet.
  • 4. Bake at 375 degrees for 9-12 minutes.
