Banana Blueberry Pudding Pie image

I haven't made this yet but will soon as our blueberry season is in full swing. I saw this recipe in a local craft store newsletter and thought it sounded so good.

1 box vanilla wafers
2 large bananas
1 c blueberries
2 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese
14 oz can(s) sweetened condensed milk
3/4 c water
3-1/2 oz box instant banana pudding mix
1 c heavy cream

Steps:

  • 1. Line a 9 inch pie plate with vanilla wafers, reserving any excess for garnish
  • 2. Layer bananas and blueberries on top of the vanilla wafers
  • 3. In lare bowl beat softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy
  • 4. Add sweetened condensed milk and beat until smooth
  • 5. Beat in water and instant banana pudding mix. Chill for 10 minutes
  • 6. In another bowl beat heavy cream with an electric mixer on medium spped until soft peaks form. Fold into the chilled pudding mixture
  • 7. Pour mixture into the prepared pie crust. Garnish with excell vanilla wafers. Chill
