Banana Bisque image

Yield 4 to 6 servings

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 1/2 cups cream
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
Pinch salt
1/4 vanilla bean
2 bananas, sliced
Serving Suggestion: Coffee ice cream or granita.

Steps:

  • Put all the ingredients in a pot, except the bananas, and bring to a boil. Chill overnight if making ahead of time.
  • When ready to serve, warm the bisque through and add the sliced bananas. Place ice cream or granite in the center of a shallow bowl and surround it with the warm bisque.
