Balochi Rosh image

An authentic recipe from Baluchistan,which is usually made for special events like marriage ceremony,picnics etc.the recipe is originated from Persia and it is one of the common luxury recipe made for farewells.

750 g lamb, pieces
1 tablespoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon cumin seed
3 green cardamoms
3 cardamoms
6 cinnamon sticks
1 teaspoon crushed black pepper
5 cloves
4 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
3 tablespoons cream
3 onions (finely cut)
10 green chilies
1/2 bunch fresh coriander
1/2 bunch of fresh mint
salt
7 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • Blend salt, turmeric, cumin, cardamoms, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves and ginger, garlic in a blender.Boil lamb pieces in a pot with little water.When tender, add prepared spices and mix cook till water dries.Blend fresh coriander, mint and green chilies finely in a blender.Remove in bowl and mix cream with it.Heat butter in a pot, fry onions and remove on absorbent paper.Grind onions with little water in a blender.Add lamb, fry for 5 minutes, add onion paste and cream mixture and put on slow heat till dry.
