Baked ziti image

This is one of my favorite dishes.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 jar(s) meat sauce or tomato sauce (i prefer prego meat sauce)
1 lb ground beef
1 box ziti with lines
1 small onion chopped
2 c ricotta
1 Tbsp garlic powder

Steps:

  • 1. Cook ziti to desired tenderness. Brown hamburg, then add onions and caramellize.
  • 2. Mix ricotta with garlic powder until well blended.
  • 3. Layer first half tomato sauce then 1/2 ziti
  • 4. Put ricotta mixture on in dollops. Cover with hamburg mixture.
  • 5. Spread over top with remaining ziti, then sauce.
  • 6. Cover with 1 cup mozzarella. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
