- About an hour before serving, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a 12x8" baking dish melt 1/3 cup margarine in the oven.
- Slice 6 med. potatoes 1/8" thick and arrange in the melted butter.
- Sprinkle with 1 teaspoons salt and a dash of pepper. Bake 40-45 minutes until potatoes are fork tender.
