Steps:
- 1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Cut the apples in half lengthwise and remove the core and stem end.
- 2. Place the apples cut-side up in a shallow baking dish. Combine the almonds, brown sugar, and butter and divide evenly into the center of each apple, mounding as needed.
- 3. Combine the orange juice and honey in a glass measuring cup and microwave 30 seconds to warm slightly and dissolve the honey. Pour over the apples.
- 4. Bake 35-45 minutes or until the apples are fork tender and the topping is browned.
