BACON-WRAPPED BEEF PATTIES image

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 c shredded cheddar cheese
2/3 c chopped onion
1/4 c ketchup
2 eggs, lightly beaten
3 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp seasoned salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 lb ground beef
10 slice bacon
10 hamburger buns, split

Steps:

  • 1. In a large bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into 10 patties. Wrap each patty with a bacon strip; secure with toothpicks. Grill patties, uncovered, over medium heat for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until juice runs clear. Discard toothpicks and serve on buns if desired. Makes 10 servings.

I tried this recipe and the patties were a bit dry. I think I'll try adding some extra moisture next time, maybe with a BBQ sauce glaze.
