Autumn Apple Salad image

It is cold out and it make me think of winter. A friend gave this to me.So enjoy this salad as it may be your last one before we think of warm soups.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1-------20 oz pineapple, crushed with juice
2/3 c sugar
1 pkg lemon gelatin
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 c apples diced and unpeeled
1 c chopped nuts
1 c chopped celery
1 c whipped topping
1 bunch lettuce leaves

Steps:

  • 1. In saucepan, combine pineapple and sugar. Bring to a boil and boil for three minutes. Add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Add cream cheese, Stir until combined, cool. Fold in apples, nuts, celery and whipped topping. Pour into 9 inch square baking pan, chill until firm. Cut into squares and serve on lettuce leaves.
