These pies were a bit too tart for my taste, but I think that's just because I used Granny Smith apples. I'll try using a sweeter variety of apple next time.

I've never made fried pies before, but this recipe made it so easy. I'll definitely be making these again.

These pies are a great way to use up leftover fruit. I had some apricots that were starting to go bad, and these pies were the perfect way to use them up.

I'm definitely going to try this recipe again. I think it would be great with other fruit fillings, like peaches or cherries.

The pies were a bit greasy for my taste. I think I'll try baking them next time instead of frying them.

I had some trouble getting the pastry to seal properly. The pies ended up leaking a bit in the fryer.

These pies were a bit too sweet for my taste, but my kids loved them. I think I'll try using a different fruit filling next time.

I made these pies for a party and they were a hit! Everyone loved them. The only thing I would change is to use a little less sugar in the filling. They were a bit too sweet for my taste.
