AUNT LUCY'S PASTA image

Yield 6 small or 4 large; leftovers good at room temp.

Number Of Ingredients 9

Half box ditalini, cooked
1 large can peas
1 large can whole tomatoes
l large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablspoons olive oil
Half teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Healt olive oil in large pan and saute onion and garlic until onion is translucent. While sauting the onion season with salt, pepper, and add red pepper flakes. Add tomatoes to pan and simmer, breaking up tomatoes as they cook. Drain peas and add to pan. Heat through. Add cooked ditalini and stir. Serve with grated cheese and Italian Bread. Quick, easy, and ingrediants are usually always on hand.
