- 1. Heat oven to 325 degrees 2. Coat a 9 inch square baking pan with non stick cooking spray. Set aside. 3. Beat butter and 1 cup sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in sour cream and vanilla. 4. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir into batter until smooth. 5. Spoon half of the batter into pan. Combine remaining 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, and nuts in a small bowl. Sprinkle 2/3 of the mixture over batter. Top with remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture. 6. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comes out clean. Serve warm.
