Number Of Ingredients 9

1 3/4 teaspoons salt, divided
4 russet potatoes (8 ounces each; 2 pounds total), peeled
Olive oil spray
2 1⁄2 tablespoons egg substitute
1 1⁄2 tablespoons unbleached or all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons paprika
1 ⁄4 teaspoon cayenne
1 ⁄8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 ⁄8 teaspoon onion powder

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add 1 teaspoon salt. Meanwhile, with a twin curl cutter, cut 7 ounces of potato curls, about 2 cups. Cover with water and refrigerate the scraps for another recipe. Preheat the oven to 450°F. Lightly mist a small nonstick baking sheet with oil spray. Set aside. Transfer the potato curls to the boiling water. Cook for exactly 3 minutes but no longer or they will break. Drain in a colander. Set aside for about 5 minutes to cool. Meanwhile, in a large mixing bowl, combine the egg substitute, flour, paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, and the remaining 3⁄4 teaspoon salt. With a fork, mix until well blended. Add the potatoes. Toss them with your fingers until they are coated with the seasoning mixture. Transfer, allowing any excess seasoning mixture to drip off, to the reserved baking sheet. Arrange the potatoes, not touching, in a single layer. Lightly mist with oil spray. Bake for 18 to 24 minutes, turning them about halfway through, until crisp and cooked through. These curly fries were a delicious and easy snack. I made them in my air fryer and they were perfectly crispy. I served them with a side of ranch dressing and they were gone in minutes. I'll definitely be making these again.

I was pleasantly surprised by these curly fries. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just like the ones from Arby's. I served them with a side of ketchup and they were delicious. I'll definitely be making these again.

These Arby's curly fries were a total failure. They were limp and greasy, and they didn't taste anything like the ones from the restaurant. I wasted my time and ingredients on this recipe.

I've never been a fan of curly fries, but these ones changed my mind. They were so crispy and flavorful, I couldn't stop eating them. I especially loved the Arby's sauce that came with them. I'll definitely be making these again.

These curly fries were easy to make and tasted delicious. I used a potato spiralizer to cut the potatoes, which made the process much easier. I also added some garlic powder and onion powder to the seasoning mix for extra flavor. Yum!

I'm a huge fan of Arby's curly fries, so I was excited to try this recipe. They were pretty good, but not quite as good as the ones from the restaurant. I think I might try a different recipe next time.

These Arby's curly fries were a disappointment. They were soggy and bland. I followed the recipe carefully, but they just didn't turn out right. I won't be making them again.

I was skeptical at first, but these curly fries turned out amazing! I followed the recipe exactly and they were crispy, flavorful, and addictive. My family loved them and I'm sure I'll be making them again soon.

I've tried many copycat Arby's curly fries recipes, but this one is by far the best. The fries were so good that my kids couldn't stop eating them. They're definitely a keeper!
