Number Of Ingredients 14

1 large pie crust
5 -6 large peaches, peeled, sliced thin
3 -4 apples, peeled, sliced thin
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg or 1 teaspoon apple pie spice
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice

  • Broadcast the crumble on top of the pie.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for about 35-40 minutes, or until bubble and topping is golden brown.

This cobbler was just okay. The crust was a bit dry and the filling was not very flavorful. I think I would have liked it better if I had used fresh fruit instead of canned fruit.

I made this cobbler for a special occasion and it was a disaster! The crust was soggy and the filling was runny. I don't know what went wrong, but I won't be making this recipe again.
