Apple Mince Walnut Pie image

I came up with this pie several years ago when I was making pies for Christmas and ended up with not quite enough filling for a whole pie. I added mincemeat and walnuts and it was a big hit. This pie is not as intense in flavor as a straight mincemeat pie and even people who are not a big fan of mince pies like it.

I've made this pie with both store-bought and homemade mincemeat and it's always delicious. It's a great way to use up leftover apples.
