Apple Meringue image

I make this almost every Rosh Hashana, it's a great dish for autumn. It's dairy-free, good for those who are lactose intolerant.

I used a pre-made pie crust to save time, and it worked out great. The pie still tasted homemade.

I'm not a huge fan of meringue, so I made this pie without it. It was still delicious!

I had some trouble getting the crust to brown properly. I think I may have rolled it out too thin.

The meringue on this pie was a bit too sweet for my taste, but the filling was perfect. Next time I make it, I'll try using less sugar in the meringue.

I've made this pie several times and it always turns out great. The crust is flaky and the filling is sweet and tart. I like to add a little bit of cinnamon to the filling for extra flavor.

This apple meringue pie was a hit! The meringue was perfectly browned and fluffy, and the apples were tender and flavorful. I used a mix of Granny Smith and Honeycrisp apples, which gave the pie a nice balance of tart and sweet.
