Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter and flour two 9" loaf pans. Beat sugar and oil in large bowl until blended. Mix in mashed apple 1/2 cup at a time. In another bowl, mix flour, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, salt and baking powder. Stir into apple mixture 1/2 cup at a time. Mix in cranberries. Divide batter between the two loaf pans. Bake until tester inserted into center comes out clean, about 1 hour 20 minutes.
