I'm not a huge fan of butterscotch, but I really enjoyed these bars. The apples and crust helped to balance out the sweetness of the butterscotch.

These apple butterscotch bars were a hit with my family! The butterscotch layer was perfectly gooey and sweet, and the apples added a nice tartness. The crust was also very good, and held everything together nicely.
