2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. cornstarch
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon

Spoon the remaining batter in small mounds over the fruit mixture and spread out. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup flour, cut in the 1/4 cup butter or until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in nuts. Sprinkle mixture over batter in pan. Bake in a 350 degrees oven 45 to 50 minutes for a 13 x 9 x 2 pan (40 to 50 minutes for two 8 x 8 pans) or until cake tests done. Cool.
