This is my great grandmothers recipe and it seems to be a favorite of almost anyone who tastes them. I love dunking in espresso coffee...lol.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 350. Blend eggs, sugar, oil, anise flavor and Baking Powder.
- 2. Add flour 1/2 cup at a time.
- 3. Dough will be very sticky, wet hands with warm water and shape into a log and place on greased cookie sheet. bake 25-30 minutes, you want to see a slight tan to the edge of log.
- 4. Remove from oven and cool about 5 minutes. With a serrated knife cut on a diagonal, and place back on cookie sheet, bake 15-20 minutes turning once. Cool on rack.
