Categories     Other Desserts

Number Of Ingredients 5

box rice krispies
can(s) eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
stick butter or margarine
bag caramels
lb marshmallows

Steps:

  • 1. Pour Rice Krispies in a cake pan and get two spoons for it.
  • 2. Melt butter, sweet condensed milk and the bag of Caramels on low heat
  • 3. Okay when caramel mixture is all mixed and melted. Drop Marshmallows one at a time into caramel mixture and coat it, then with tongs pick that marshmallow up and drop it into the rice kipsies, roll with spoons to coat. I use big Tupperware bowls to store these in. Good from the Refrigerator or room temperature.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my snowballs didn't hold together very well. I think I might have needed to use more butter.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my snowballs turned out really dry. I think I might have overcooked the rice krispies.

I had a hard time finding the mini marshmallows, so I used regular marshmallows instead. They worked just fine, but I think the mini marshmallows would have been better.

These snowballs were a little too sweet for my taste, but they were still good. I think I would use less sugar next time.

I was a little skeptical about making these because I'm not a big fan of rice krispie treats, but I was pleasantly surprised. These snowballs are so much better than the traditional kind. They're more flavorful and the marshmallow filling is a great

I've made these snowballs several times now and they're always a crowd-pleaser. They're so light and fluffy, and the marshmallow filling is the perfect amount of sweetness.
