Angel Food Cake (Rose's Restaurant) image

This cake is from the famous Rose's Resaturant and Bakery in Portland Or. the woman who opened Rose's came to America from Russia as a young woman and used to bake in her very own kitchen!!! then transport the baked goods to her small Bakery every morning! she eventually expanded to a few resturants/Bakery. Sadly I think she passed, and the Restaurants eventually closed, back in the 80's she made 2 cookbooks..this is the description of the cake: FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY. THE RESULT WILL DELIGHT YOU. THE RECIPE IS WORTH THE PRICE OF THIS BOOK!!! also there is a chocolate version with a marshmallow icing that I will also post seperately that we serve @ every birthday.

This cake is a bit too sweet for my taste. I think I'll try a different recipe next time.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my cake turned out dry and crumbly. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what happened.

Meh. Not bad, but not great either. It was a bit too dense for my taste and the flavor was just okay. I wouldn't go out of my way to make this again.

This cake was a bit of a disappointment. It was dry and crumbly, and the flavor was bland. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong. Maybe I overbaked it? I'll try again with a different recipe.

I've tried many Angel Food Cake recipes, but this one from Roses Restaurant is by far the best. It's incredibly moist and fluffy, with a beautiful golden crust. I love that it's not too sweet, so you can really taste the flavor of the cake. Will defi
