ANGEL CRISP COOKIES image

LOOKING through our family albums and seeing all these angel faces. MOM said look you can make cookies for these little angels .SO the idea stuck in my head.HERE IT IS with help from my grandbabies.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 c splenda
1/2 c brown sugar, light
1 c shortening
1 large egg
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar

Steps:

  • 1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 400* AND BAKE COOKIES FOR ONLY 8 to 20 minutes
  • 2. CREAM sugars, shortening , egg and vanilla. ADD dry ingredients sifted together .
  • 3. FORM into a walnut -size balls. DIP top half in water then sugar.
  • 4. PLACE on greased sheet and press down in center with finger AND BAKE IT FOR 8 TO 20 minutes and check on them,so that they overcook. CHECK with toothpick when it comes out clear they are done. COOL them and let it sit wire wrac,to cool.
