2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup shortening
¼ cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast

I would not recommend this recipe. The biscuits were dense and flavorless.

I thought these biscuits were just okay. They were a bit dry, and the glaze was too thick.

These biscuits were a bit too sweet for my taste, but they were still good.
