Amish Layered Dinner image

This is a very easy dish, it tastes like meatloaf over scalloped potatoes with very little effort. No need to pre-brown anything, just slice, chop, layer and bake. This serves the 8 of us, but I know my teenaged boys could demolish a whole pan if I let them. I'll try to get a better picture next time I make it.

I was disappointed with this recipe. The chicken was dry and the potatoes were undercooked.

I made this last night and it was a huge hit with my family. The chicken was moist and flavorful, the potatoes were creamy, and the cheese was gooey and melted. Definitely a keeper!

This dish was a little bland for my taste. I added some extra salt and pepper and it was much better.
