This is our traditional Christmas cookie. We have had these at every Christmas for as long as I can remember.

Steps:
- 1. In a large bowl, work together the butter and flour with your hands.
- 2. Add remaining ingredients and work together until very smooth; let stand 15 minutes.
- 3. Preheat oven to 275º - 300º
- 4. Take a piece of dough the size of a walnut. Roll into a ball and then squeeze it into a crescent shape.
- 5. Put cookies on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes. Note: cookies will be VERY LIGHTLY brown in color. Do not let get too brown!
