1 large egg
2 large egg white
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
3/4 cup finely chopped bittersweet (not unsweetened) or semisweet chocolate

I made these macaroons gluten-free by using gluten-free flour. They were just as good as the regular version.

I didn't have any chocolate chips, so I used chopped walnuts instead. They were still delicious!

I'm allergic to almonds, so I made these macaroons with almond flour. They turned out great!

These macaroons are way too sweet for my taste. I ended up throwing them away.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my macaroons turned out flat and crumbly. I'm not sure what went wrong.

These macaroons are just okay. They're a bit too dry for my taste.

I've tried several different macaroon recipes, and this one is by far the best. The macaroons are always moist and chewy, and they have the perfect amount of sweetness.

I love these macaroons! They're so light and airy, and the chocolate chips give them the perfect amount of sweetness.

These macaroons are so easy to make, even for a beginner baker like me. I was worried they would be too sweet, but they're actually perfectly balanced.
