Air Fryer Salmon Croquettes image

These easy to make salmon croquettes are just as tasty as pan-fried but they are grease free and oil free. That's thanks to an air fryer!

Provided by Yoly

Time 30m

Yield 3

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 (14.5 ounce) can salmon, drained and flaked
1 large egg, beaten
¾ cup panko bread crumbs
½ cup diced onion
⅓ cup mayonnaise
½ lemon, juiced
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
avocado oil nonstick cooking spray

Steps:

  • Combine salmon, egg, panko, onions, mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill, seafood seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix to combine and shape into 6 equal-sized patties.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line air fryer basket with parchment paper and spray with avocado oil.
  • Place salmon croquettes into the basket and spray with avocado oil.
  • Air fry until croquettes are golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Flip croquettes over, spray with avocado oil, and air fry an additional 4 to 7 minutes. Cook in batches if necessary.

These croquettes are a great way to use up leftover salmon. I always have some leftover salmon after I make a salmon fillet, so this is a great way to use it up.

I love that this recipe is healthy. The croquettes are baked, not fried, so they're a lot lower in fat.

The croquettes were a little bland. I think I would have added more herbs and spices to the mixture.

These croquettes were a little too fishy for my taste. I think I would have preferred them with less salmon.

I'm not a big fan of salmon, but I really enjoyed these croquettes. The flavor was mild and the texture was perfect.

These croquettes are a great way to get kids to eat salmon. My kids loved them and they didn't even realize they were eating fish!

These salmon croquettes were a hit! They were crispy on the outside and moist and flaky on the inside. The flavor was perfect, with just the right amount of salmon, herbs, and spices.
