1 (12 -16 ounce) acorn squash

  • Add sage, rosemary, thyme, and pepper (or anything else you'd like).
  • Add apple and saute/sweat for 2 minutes-ish.
  • Add garlic and saute/sweat for 2 minutes-ish.
  • Drain if needed.
  • Stir in stuffing mix and water.
  • Once stuffing mix is moist, stir in cheese.
  • Spoon stuffing into prepared squash.
  • Cover with loosely with foil.

This was a great recipe! I made it for a dinner party and everyone raved about it. The squash was perfectly roasted and the filling was so flavorful. I would definitely recommend this recipe to others.

I'm not usually a fan of acorn squash, but this recipe changed my mind. The combination of flavors is amazing and the squash is cooked to perfection. I will definitely be making this again.
