15 Minute Mandarin Orange Salad image

This is my mom's recipe and is ever present at all holidays in my family. I changed it to make it sugar free and low fat. However, you can add the full fat cream cheese, and full fat Cool Whip if you want. It tastes great both ways. If you want thick servings use a smaller dish, if you want thinner use a bigger dish, you decide.

I used a mix of red and green mandarin oranges for this salad. It added a nice pop of color.

I'm not a big fan of cilantro, so I omitted it from the recipe. The salad was still delicious!

This salad is a great make-ahead dish. I often make it the night before and then pack it for lunch the next day.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my salad didn't turn out as good as I hoped. The dressing was too runny and the oranges were a bit sour.

I found the salad to be a bit bland. I think it could have used a little more salt and pepper.

The dressing is a bit too sweet for my taste, but I still enjoyed the salad.
