- 3. Cool the meat and vegatables a bit and add to egg mixture in the pie plates, again dividing evenly and mix slightly to incorporate. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Tips:
- Choose the right ingredients: Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. Look for eggs from free-range chickens, heavy cream with at least 35% butterfat, and a variety of fresh vegetables.
- Prepare your crust in advance: You can make the crust up to 3 days ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator. This will save you time on the day you're making the quiche.
- Don't overcook the quiche: The quiche is done when the center is just set and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Overcooking will make the quiche dry and tough.
- Let the quiche cool before serving: This will allow the flavors to meld and the quiche to set properly.
- Serve the quiche warm or at room temperature: Quiche is best served warm, but it can also be served at room temperature. If you're serving it warm, reheat it in a 350°F oven for about 15 minutes, or until it's heated through.
