1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup cold butter
TOPPING:
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup raspberry jam

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. Press onto the bottom of a greased 9-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 18-20 minutes or until set and the edges are lightly browned., Meanwhile, for topping, combine eggs and brown sugar in a bowl. Beat in vanilla.
