Tips:
- Whenever baking thumbprints, it's essential to use a chilled dough to prevent the cookies from spreading excessively. Chilling the dough allows the fats to solidify, resulting in a firmer dough that holds its shape better. - If you don't have a cookie press, you can still make these thumbprints by using a piping bag fitted with a star tip. Simply pipe small rounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheets. - Before baking, make sure to press a deep indentation into the center of each cookie. This will ensure there's enough space for the raspberry jam filling. - Feel free to experiment with different types of jam or preserves for the filling. Some popular options include strawberry, apricot, and lemon curd. - To add a touch of extra sweetness, you can sprinkle the cookies with powdered sugar before serving. Conclusion:
Raspberry Pistachio Thumbprints are delightful cookies that are perfect for any occasion. They're easy to make, delicious, and sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a sweet treat, give these cookies a try. You won't be disappointed!
