Time 30m

Yield 4 servings

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 cups ice cubes
1 cup frozen raspberries
1/4 cup club soda
2 tablespoons frozen lemonade mix
2 tablespoons lemon juice, divided
3 ounces tequila
Salt, for garnish

Steps:

  • Place ice in blender and pulse several times, to begin breaking it up. Add raspberries, club soda, lemonade mix, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and tequila and blend until thick and smooth, about 30 seconds.
  • Pour 1 tablespoon or so of lemon juice into a small saucer. In another saucer, pour a thin layer of salt (table salt, or kosher is even better). Dip the rims of the glassed in the lemon juice, then the salt. Pour frozen mix into salted glass and serve.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe, juicy raspberries: This will ensure that your margarita has the best flavor.
  • Use fresh lemon juice: This will give your margarita a bright, tart flavor.
  • Don't skimp on the tequila: A good margarita should have a generous amount of tequila. Use a high-quality tequila that you enjoy drinking.
  • Use a good-quality triple sec: Triple sec is an orange-flavored liqueur that adds sweetness and depth of flavor to margaritas. Use a triple sec that you like the taste of.
  • Don't over-shake your margarita: Over-shaking will make your margarita watery. Shake your margarita just until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Serve your margarita immediately: Margaritas are best enjoyed fresh. Don't let them sit around for too long before serving.

The raspberry lemon margarita is a refreshing, delicious cocktail that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized to your own taste.
