This is a recipe that I got from "The Berry Farm" (in Colt's Neck, NJ) some 34+ years ago. I can't say if the berry farm still exists because I haven't lived in NJ for over 20 years.

Tips:
- Use fresh or frozen berries for the best flavor. If using frozen berries, thaw them before using.
- Be sure to grease and flour the loaf pan before adding the batter. This will help the bread to come out of the pan easily.
- Do not overmix the batter. Overmixing can result in a tough, dense bread.
- Bake the bread until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. This will usually take about 50-60 minutes.
- Let the bread cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving. This will help the bread to hold its shape.
